OVERVIEW:
Our client, a UK-based consultancy and construction delivery firm, is looking for a Telesales Executive to drive growth by converting design-only projects into full-service construction contracts. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, target-driven, and passionate about building strong client relationships while identifying upsell opportunities within an active pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review live engineering projects and identify opportunities for full-service upselling
- Engage with current design-phase clients to understand their build plans and timelines
- Promote their construction delivery services and position Imperium as the build partner of choice
- Arrange virtual or in-person meetings with their construction project managers
- Support the proposal process with timely follow-ups and clarifying calls
- Maintain accurate updates in CRM and flag high-priority opportunities to senior teams
- Provide weekly reports on upsell activity, conversions, and client feedback
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in telesales, account management, or project coordination in Construction/engineering
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially B2B
- Commercially astute with an understanding of project lifecycles in construction
- Confidence in discussing budgets, timelines, and commercial offerings
- Experience using CRM systems and follow-up pipelines
- Engineering background with familiarity in translating technical concepts for commercial discussions
- Familiarity with construction or property development sectors is a strong plus
