ENVIRONMENT:
YOUR ability to articulate complex technical solutions to clients & expertise selling a range of IT products and services is sought by a dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist to fill the role of its next Pre-Sales & Architect. Working closely with the Sales team, you will assist in product suitability and service delivery expectations while advising on bid/no bid decisions and managing Vendor relationship and developing opportunities for the business. The ideal candidate must have Grade 12/Matric, Certifications in Cisco, HPe Aruba, Fortinet & Security with a range of professional Sales-related courses. You will need at least 5 years Pre-Sales work experience in the KZN Market including account management, selling and product strategizing.
 
DUTIES:
  • Work closely with the Sales team in product suitability and service delivery expectations.
  • Advise on bid/no bid decisions based on technical and commercial considerations.
  • Articulate (Through written submissions and oral presentations) solutions to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Support sales efforts with in- depth product and business knowledge.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company`s products and service offerings and methodologies.
  • Work with the Product Development teams to capture new customer requirements and develop and expand the product portfolio.
  • Work with the Post-Sales team in handing over any Pre-Sale’s effort.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationship with clients to the company`s benefit.
  • Manage Vendor relationships and develop opportunities for the business.
  • Produce detailed costing for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable.
  • Lead Team.
  • Prioritise critical Bids & Client engagements.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
  • Matric Grade 12 (Compulsory).
  • Certifications in Cisco and HPe Aruba solutions, Fortinet, Security.
  • A range of professional courses particularly related to selling skills, communication skills, presentation skills, negotiating skills and other Sales related skills.  
 
Experience/Skills –
  • 5 Years Pre-Sales experience in the KZN Market.
  • Existing track record of solutions provided to enterprise class clients.
  • Have existing relationships with key Vendors such as Cisco and HPe Aruba.
  • Have experience doing the costing of complex solutions.
  • Meeting Sales goals.
  • Sales & marketing experience in an IT solutions selling environment, or senior management position with a focus on defining and delivering solutions. Expertise in selling a range of IT products and services is essential.
  • End-to-end management of a sales channel is vital. This includes experience in account management, selling and product strategizing.
  • In depth knowledge of Durban Market, with relationships at senior management within the market existing.
  • Experience in the Business Solutions IT industry is highly desired, and an expert level of knowledge is required, where product functionality and business environment must be strategically matched.
