ENVIRONMENT:
A dynamic Academic Institute seeks to employ the services of a Linux-based Operating System Lecturer as an Independent Contractor based in Mowbray. You will lecture IT-related modules on a part-time basis while assisting in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department. Applicants will need to possess a BSc. Honours Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with relevant lecturing experience including knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes and relevant research experience.
DUTIES:
Modules to be lectured: Linux-based Operating System
- Lecturing.
- General administration.
- Set and mark of assessments.
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials.
- Quality Assurance.
- Management of At-risk students.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- BSc. Honours Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems or Computer Science.
Experience/Skills –
- Relevant lecturing experience.
- Necessary knowledge of Higher Education practices and processes.
- Relevant research experience.
