Cybersecurity Sales Specialist (CPT Hybrid)

FILL the prime role of an ambitious & target-driven Cybersecurity Sales Specialist (CPT Hybrid) sought by a global & innovative Mobile & Cloud Solutions Specialist. You must be someone who is able to combine an entrepreneurial mindset with a technical approach & understands business and how cybersecurity technology can solve business problems. The role will entail translating complicated topics into something interesting and relevant that inspires others, irrespective of their geographic location, to see your vision. You must have preferably have at least 8 years’ experience selling IT technologies with some technical background and understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology with a proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding chunky sales targets.
  • Develop your own leads and leverage marketing and networking opportunities to create sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Lead Generation team to fine tune a successful approach and strategy to your territory.
  • Open up opportunities and develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct executive-level sales engagements (mostly remotely but possibly face to face), understanding the technical needs of the customer and articulating the value of company products and solutions at an Enterprise Level.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with information relating to your pipeline.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, business cases, PoC’s and sales contracts in collaboration with the Technical and Finance teams.
  • Conclude commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Build strong relationships with our product partners.
  • Manage and monitor client implementations.
  • Manage client handovers to Account Management.
  • Be proactive in developing and maintaining the required level of knowledge in cybersecurity products and cyber technologies.
  • Sales Success: A track record of successfully meeting and exceeding chunky sales targets in a target-driven environment or similar entrepreneurial background.

  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Experience in selling IT technologies (ideally at least 8 years), some technical background and an understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology in particular.
  • Professional: This role calls for a credible, presentable, articulate and tactful individual who can confidently pitch to C-Level decision makers.
  • Driven to succeed over long sales cycles: Results cannot be achieved without determination, diligence, tenaciousness and perseverance, particularly to keep on at it through extended and complex sales cycles. 
  • Quick thinking: A lateral thinker, creative deal maker and an enquiring mind is essential to help clients on their cyber journey. This means being interested in how things work, doing the research and being able to explain complex topics simply.
