ENVIRONMENT:
An innovative consultancy specializing in software and data solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This role offers the chance to drive growth, foster strategic partnerships, and contribute to impactful, cutting-edge projects.
 
DUTIES:
Client Engagement & Lead Generation:
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery phases with clients as part of the sales process.
  • Utilize strategies such as cold calling, email outreach, and in-person meetings to generate leads.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop account plans and craft technical and commercial proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including leadership, project management, and technical departments, to close deals.
Market Insights & Contribution:
  • Contribute to refining the company’s sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, software development practices, and data science requirements.
  • Internal Product Advocacy:
  • Explore opportunities for integrating internal products into the sales process.
Performance Tracking:
  • Set and achieve KPIs aligned with sales targets, focusing on both local and international markets.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Demonstrated success in business development or sales, preferably in technology-related fields.
  • Familiarity with software development, data science, and emerging technologies (ML/AI knowledge is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and technical teams.
  • Comfortable with in-office, client site, and travel-based engagements.
  • Exposure to international markets, particularly the US and Middle East, is highly beneficial.
