ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, a leading player in the IT services sector, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a senior-level hunter role, ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance, target-driven environment and has a proven track record of securing large-scale deals within IT
infrastructure services.
DUTIES:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT infrastructure services market.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level stakeholders, understanding their business needs and presenting tailored service solutions.
- Drive the full sales cycle: from lead generation and prospecting to closing and account handover.
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to align client requirements with service capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to stay ahead of the curve.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in business development or sales roles within the IT services industry.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure services (e.g., data centre, networking, cloud, managed services, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Proven hunter profile with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding high-value sales targets.
- Experience in complex solution selling and negotiating large enterprise-level contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities in a dynamic environment.
