Pre-sales Technical Support (JHB)

ENVIRONMENT:
PROVIDE Pre-sales technical product support to internal Sales staff and external business partners as the next Pre-sales Technical Support person sought by a leading manufacturer and distributor of printing, packaging and communication products. You will also design and implement hardware & software solutions, implement Quality standards and initiatives while training users and assisting with software upgrades. You must have Matric/Grade 12, at least 2 years work experience in technical repairs including proficiency with Microsoft Office, WLAN and Barcode Printing Label software.
 
DUTIES:
  • Provide Pre-sales technical product support to internal Sales staff and external business partners.
  • Design and implement hardware and software solutions.
  • Design and implement device management software solutions.
  • Provide Post-sales technical product support to internal Sales staff, external business partners and end-users.
  • Documentation – User requirement specifications.
  • Implement Quality standards and initiatives.
  • Online user support.
  • Train Users.
  • Troubleshoot application.
  • Assist user with customised software upgrades and installations.
  • Achieve team goals.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical repairs.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Work on Microsoft Office.
  • Application software.
  • Barcode Printing Label software.
  • WLAN.
  • Experience in handling customers in all situations.
  • Second language would be advantageous.
