ENVIRONMENT:

A leading multinational corporation in the skincare industry seeks the expertise a meticulous Accountant to join its Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your core role will include reconciliation of cash books and both local and international debtors and creditors, coordinating the foreign currency expenditure for travel and all other company accounts. You will require a BCom/BCom Honours Degree in Accounting or other relevant tertiary qualification, have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and possess strong Excel and Pastel Evolution.

 

DUTIES:

Processing and reconciliation of cash books.

Processing and reconciliation of local and international debtors and creditors.

Deal with inward and outward foreign exchange deals.

Process online banking payments.

Analyse and process credit card expenses.

Process and analyse foreign currency travel expenses.

Prepare monthly analyses of general ledger control accounts.

Manage foreign petty cash.

Preparation of trial balance and management accounts of associated company.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

BCom / BCom Honours Degree in Accounting or other relevant tertiary qualification.

At least 5 years’ industry experience.

A strong understanding of Accounting concepts.

Excellent Excel and Pastel Evolution skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.
