YOUR expertise selling B2B high tech solutions and leading teams is sought by a fast-growing global start-up based in the CBD seeking its next Software Sales Account Executive/Business Development Manager (SDR). Your role will entail managing a team of Sales Executives, responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel and to research potential clients, connect with and educate prospects. You will be responsible for converting your own leads as well as assisting and driving your team to close and create new business. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing/Market Research/Financial Services or equivalent, have 8-10 years’ experience selling B2B high tech solutions ideally in Computer Networking and Security, HubSpot proficiency. Manage a team of Sales Development Executives / Lead Generators.
Convert leads and close deals.
Act as a subject matter expert on Application Delivery Controller (ADC) solutions.
Research target leads and create an analysis of the prospect before handing them off to an Account Executive, Sales Director, or Sales team.
Educate leads on ADCs and nurture them until they are qualified and ready to talk with an Account Executive, Sales Director, or the Sales team.
With your team. qualify and engage sales leads, supplying leads with adequate information about ADCs and provide the Sales team with detailed information about the lead.
Attend appointment and conduct demos of products and solutions.
Manage your own and your team’s targets and incentives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Market Research, Financial Services, Consulting, Business Development or client success.
Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience selling B2B high tech solutions, ideally in Computer Networking and Security, or other relevant experience.
Experience and competence with sales tools such as HubSpot.
Proven track record for articulating a product/service and building rapport with prospects.
Proven track record for managing a Sales team within a similar environment.
Ability to pinpoint customer pain points and accurately assess the transactional value for both the company and customer.
Able to present and demonstrate products, services and solutions to clients
Close deals on behalf of Sales Team as well as your own prospects.
Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation and social media.
Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, independent and strong attention to detail.
