FORMULATE design strategies, products and user experiences that are aesthetically pleasing as the next Senior UX Designer sought by a fast-paced global Digital Business Consultancy. You will be responsible for enhancing user satisfaction with our product offerings which includes websites, landing pages, email, eBooks, web apps and other digital web assets. Your creative design and ideas should be original, valuable, built on solid digital design principles and enhance the digital strategy. The ideal candidate requires a UX Design related tertiary qualification, 5 years’ experience in a similar role including Agile Marketing and Typography and have proficiency in XD, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Analytics, AdWords, Paid Social, Slack, Jira, Databox, G-Suite, Accelo etc.
UX Design –
Design products (websites, landing pages, email, eBooks, web applications and other digital web assets) that delight users with their effectiveness.
Design products that delight users aesthetically.
Define interaction models, user task flows, frameworks and UI specifications.
Clearly communicate user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to team members working on a product.
Develop and design wireframes and specifications with the strategic and development teams.
Design fit-for-purpose solutions that achieve the original strategic intent.
Research and Development –
Consider the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) element of all design.
Consider existing applications and evaluate their UX effectiveness.
Understand user testing of applications, software and websites.
Use of online tools, such as screen readers, to aid your research and understanding.
Keep up with industry standards and trends –
Stay abreast of clients’ industry activity and make design recommendations based on insights gained.
Regularly audit and improve products and designs to ensure we’re up to date and the right fit in this incredibly fast-paced industry.
Keep abreast of developments in the digital design industry and share insights with other team members.
Strategy and Process –
Follow processes and ensure rigour across processes.
Work well alone and also within a team to deliver successful projects.
Work and review with the Lead UX Designer and Creative Director.
Assist in developing and maintaining design strategies.
Tertiary qualification in UX Design.
At least 5 years of UX Design experience in a professional capacity.
Digital Agency experience.
A history of delivering high volumes of consistently great quality user experiences.
A strong understanding of digital strategy.
A passion and strong understanding of the industry and the business’ mission.
Have a basic understanding of Agile Marketing and ability to grasp and adjust to changing processes. A solid understanding of Inbound Marketing.
An excellent eye for design, Typography and detail.
Excellent attention to detail with great accuracy and thoroughness.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
Excellent internal workflow management.
Skilled at handling fast-paced, short lead-time client requests.
Excellent communicator with superb interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
The ability to take constructive feedback on projects from the team.
Understanding of common Software Project Management practices.
Adept at client presentations
Technically minded and able to grasp our technology stack i.e., XD, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Analytics, AdWords, Paid Social, Slack, Jira, Databox, G-Suite, Accelo etc.
Experience working with B2B tech clients, and an understanding of Inbound Marketing would be highly advantageous.
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
