Your role will include being responsible for and committed to the supported product vision and road map, incorporating thorough market research and stakeholder requirements, aiding with tender documentation and team projects, providing technical training & serving as the Product specialist (user) and “Go-To Guy” for supported products. The ideal candidate must preferably have CCNA or related certifications, 3 years’ experience implementing/supporting routing, switching & voice (SIP and UC) & must be able to design, propose and present solutions. Essential requirements include experience with Tapping and Packet Brokering design and implementation & Cisco, IXIA/Keysight, Netscout, NewRelic, ExtraHop or related experience with APM/NPM tools.

Offer Pre-Sales assistance on products and help design tailored solutions for customers.
Provide effective support and training to services division and customers by means of well documented and online material with relative face to face interactions if required.
Maintain certified product paths.

Pre-Sales Solutions function:
This is a customer facing function and will be one of the most areas time will be spent on.
Thorough understanding of monitoring technologies including, but not limited to, taps, packet brokers, application performance monitors, Fault/ Performance/ Configuration management software.
Responsible for and committed to the supported product vision and road map, incorporating thorough market research and stakeholder requirements.
Maximize the value of the products supported by the company.
Represent the customer’s requirements and perspective and build solution based upon those requirements.
Product/Module update presentations and training to clients and team members.
Pre-sales support and specific solution designs and presentations for both sales and services divisions.
Products Responsibility –
Map the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the proposed sales plan.
Vendor liaison representing both the business and the supported product.
Update ordering and pricing changes for sales upstream.
Clearly communicating the business benefits and requirements of the Product or Solution.
Create and update internal documentation life cycles on our Wiki.
Assist with tender documentation and team projects.
Ensure the product’s roadmap is communicated throughout the company based on selected products that are supported by the company.
Ensure that training programs and platforms exist and is up to date for internal and customer use.
Responsible for the product patch and version acceptance before customer release.
Organise product sales training as available by vendor to sales and other team members to ensure others are up to date on the latest functionality and feature sets.
Manage your time to other divisions and clients effectively.
Assist learner and junior Solutions Specialists with related division projects and promote adequate skills transfer for growth.
Test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are fully supportable for both sales and services take on.
Product specialist (user) and “Go-To Guy” for supported products.
Provide Technical Training for internal staff and customer users by either using direct or create course material for our training platform.
Communicate market activities to all ‘internal stakeholders”.
Monthly and Ad-Hoc Reports on Progress/Timelines/Impediments.
Product literature including demo and presentation materials per product.
Assist Marketing with marketing collateral, which includes the creation of media and literature drafts and amendments.
CCNA or related certifications welcome.
Tapping and Packet Brokering design and implementation experience is essential.
Cisco, IXIA/Keysight, Netscout, NewRelic, ExtraHop or related experience with APM/NPM tools is essential.
Must be able to design, propose and present solutions.
At least 3 years’ experience in implementing or supporting routing, switching & voice (SIP and UC).
Must be able to self-manage time and project outputs.
Bring a solutions-orientated approach.
Business writing skills with the focus on presentations, proposals and reporting.
Network and security experience.
Must be a fast learner.
High degree of aptitude and professionalism in the environment.
