Then you are the perfect fit for a global & innovative Mobile & Cloud Solutions Specialist seeking a Lead Gen/Sales Consultant to join its team. Your core role will be to generate pre-qualified leads through sourcing, contacting and qualifying prospects via email, LinkedIn or phone and to progress sales opportunities. The ideal candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role generating your own leads using tools like LinkedIn, Google, Navigator etc. Territories that they may be required to cover could include South Africa, Africa, and abroad.
Once fully trained, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following –
Demand Generation –
Source leads through LinkedIn and/or on-line research.
Research leads thoroughly to evaluate possible solutions that may be of interest.
Contact companies telephonically or via email / LinkedIn.
Connect with the appropriate person (i.e., the ‘C’ level decision maker) passing the gatekeeper.
Establish their current IT platform, business needs, interest and timelines and align such needs with suitable solutions.
Secure their interest in having a meeting with a Business Development Manager.
Lead Qualification –
Follow up with prospective client after the meeting / event.
Co-ordinate the next steps with client.
Build ongoing relationships.
Ensure the next step is delivered upon.
Within defined parameters, pursue the opportunity through the sales cycle and close the sale.
Keep CRM (Salesforce) system up to date.
University Degree / Tertiary education preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
Experience generating own leads using various technology platforms e.g., LinkedIn etc.
Well-spoken with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Confidence to communicate convincingly with business decision makers.
