ENVIRONMENT:

YOUR sales talents to sell via channel partners and directly to clients as an Account Manager is sought by a specialist in End-to-end IT Management and Consultative IT Services. Your role will also entail managing new and existing accounts, meeting and exceeding Sales targets, setting up workshops and maintaining the Sales pipeline and leading information on CRM system up until invoicing. The successful candidate will have Matric/Grade 12, 3-4 years’ proven work experience in a similar role and/or as a Technical Sales Rep, formal Technical/Sales training, experience with Networks, Telecommunications and/or Security with a good understanding of general IT concepts, good presentation and communication and strong administrative, project-and organisational skills. DUTIES:

Search for opportunities to sell Services.

Manage new and existing accounts.

Work with your peers to achieve Sales targets.

Schedule and run meetings.

Setup workshops.

Proactively manage client expectations.

Maintain Sales pipeline and lead information on CRM system up until invoicing.

Provide feedback gathered through field activities.

Disseminate information.

Manage and adhere to deadlines.

Identify resources to assist with client requirements.

Assist with the invoice process.

Provide admin and marketing assistance.

Provide pre-technical assistance.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 / Matric.

3-4 Years’ proven work experience as an Account Manager and/or as a Technical Sales Representative.

Strong client service delivery focus.

Formal technical and sales training.

Networks, Telecommunications and/or Security experience.

Fluent in English and able to articulate issues clearly.

Good understanding of general IT concepts.

Experience in building strong relationships.

Ability to sell via channel partners, as well as directly to clients.

Good presentation and communication skills.

Strong administrative-, project- and organisational-skills.

Proven track record of meeting sales targets (this would be beneficial).
