ENVIRONMENT:
A UK-based award-winning leader in contact centre AI software seeks a highly talented Account Executive with at least 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and/or in the insurance, consumer credit, or car finance sectors and who is based in Amsterdam. Your core role will entail utilising outbound prospecting on LinkedIn and Hubspot to generate monthly leads in the ICP (UK insurance, consumer credit, or car finance brokers/lenders with 30-300 Employees with 10+ Agents/Advisors). The ideal candidate will also be both tactical and creative in your approach to sales strategy, able to join the dots and add value in follow-ups while possessing sales charisma and having strong active listening skills, allowing you to read between the lines, especially in the high-context UK market. You must also be comfortable with the idea of traveling to other countries for prospect visits, events, and awards dinners.
 
DUTIES:
  • Use outbound prospecting on LinkedIn and Hubspot to generate monthly leads in the ICP (UK insurance, consumer credit, or car finance brokers/lenders with 30-300 Employees with 10+ Agents/Advisors).
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to write and send personalised messages for key accounts (ABM).
  • Book and complete a minimum of 10 Discovery Calls (SQLs) per month.
  • In addition, complete another 20 regular Discovery Calls booked by our SDR team.
  • Complete a combined 30 monthly Discovery Calls and qualify BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
  • Setup and complete 10 monthly Demonstrations using clients’ call recordings and quality frameworks to demonstrate ROI.
  • Get any mix of key decision-makers (Managing Director/COO/Head of Operations/Head of Compliance/Head of Quality Assurance/Head of IT) to attend the demonstration.
  • Design demo presentation slides showcasing that we’ve understood their problems and positioning the business as the perfect solution.
  • Send out and negotiate annual contracts each month, including cellphone-based negotiations with buyers.
  • Before the end of the week, update deal stages, deal values, and close dates in the CRM. Ensure all activities are logged.
  • Close a minimum of four deals in the ICP per month.
  • Film a brief Loom video explaining who the new client is and why they purchased it, and ensure context is transferred to the Implementation team.
  • Send an email to the client introducing their dedicated implementation manager and ensuring the kick-off call is scheduled.
  • Log product ideas and share insights with the product team to influence the roadmap.
  • Share detailed field information on competitors, as gathered in your interactions with customers, allowing the Marketing team to constantly update competitive overviews.
  • Attend all onboarding and configuration calls during the three-month Implementation and Validation phase and ensure 100% of your clients successfully move into production.
  • Contact the economic buyer once a month to see if they have any concerns and ensure they attend the QBRs.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 Years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and/or in the insurance, consumer credit, or car finance sectors.
  • You are based in Amsterdam.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable setting up, configuring, and presenting demos on clients’ calls, with a deep understanding of the product.
  • You’re both tactical and creative in your approach to sales strategy, able to join the dots and add value in follow-ups. You can create urgency from thin air.
  • Possess sales charisma and have strong active listening skills, allowing you to read between the lines, especially in the high-context UK market.
  • Have a strong focus on understanding customer pain points and tailoring your communication to address those specific needs.
  • You’re driven and persistent, with a strong motivation to excel in all aspects of the sales process, from email sequences, calls to LinkedIn outreach, doing whatever it takes to close deals.
  • You enjoy reaching inbox zero by the end of the week, are comfortable managing over 100 emails per day, and are prompt in sending follow-ups within 24 hours of discovery calls and demos.
  • Follows established processes while also being able to think creatively. 
  • You are capable and comfortable with the idea of traveling to the UK or other countries for prospect visits, events, and awards dinners.
