Sales Executive (JHB)

A cutting-edge FinTech company in Joburg seeks the selling wizardry of an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive to join its team. Your role will entail planning and carrying out all sales activities, identifying business opportunities, and closing sales, while maintaining an extensive knowledge of market conditions and developments. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organised and innovative, welcoming the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. In addition, you must possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5+ years’ Sales or Account Management, the proven ability to generate sales leads and meet targets with strong Communication skills and an established network in the Payments/Collections industry.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to merchants.
  • Generate and qualify leads.
  • Source and develop client referrals.
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
  • Schedule sales activity.
  • Negotiation with merchants.
  • Develop and present sales proposals.
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports.
  • Participate in sales events.
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ Years of Sales or Account Management experience.
  • Proven ability to generate sales leads.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Established network in Payments / Collections industry.
