ENVIRONMENT:
Our client functions as a communication platform that connects different service providers to enable a coordinated response. Currently, they are in search of a Program Manager who will take the helm in implementing IT solutions, managing project risks, and ensuring project success while aligning with their strategic objectives. This position plays a crucial part in client interactions, process enhancement, and the delivery of top-notch IT solutions in the security industry. Candidates for this role are ideally expected to possess a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Furthermore, they should boast a minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to IT solution implementation.
DUTIES:
IT Solution Implementation
- Leading the implementation of IT solutions across various projects.
- Coordinating with the Software Development Manager to align IT solutions with software capabilities.
Project Risk Management
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with IT projects.
- Developing risk management plans and strategies.
Customer Engagement
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients during project implementation.
- Managing customer expectations and resolving any issues or concerns.
Project Management
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborating with internal teams, including software development, QA, and product management,
- to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Effectively communicating project status, issues, and deliverables to senior management and
- clients.
Process Improvement
- Identifying inefficiencies in project management processes and implementing improvements.
- Promoting Agile methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance
- Working closely with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
- Ensuring that all projects undergo proper testing and meet quality standards.
Strategic Planning
- Aligning IT project activities with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for technological innovation and business growth.
Budget Management
- Managing the budget for IT projects.
- Allocating resources effectively to meet project and organisational goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on IT solution implementation.
- PMP, Prince2, or similar Project Management certification is a plus.
- Strong background in IT and familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks.
- Proven experience in project risk management and mitigation.
