Professional Services Consultant (Ivanti Service Manager / Heat)

ENVIRONMENT:
EFFECTIVELY deliver Consulting services to clients by analysing, documenting, installing, configuring and integrating Ivanti Service Manager and other related software products / solutions as the next Professional Services Consultant sought by a provider of innovative IT Solutions. The successful incumbent should have excellent technical / solution design and architecture skills together with strong communication, problem-solving, planning and organisational skills. You must possess a Bachelors/BSc. Degree in Commerce or Computer Science or equivalent with 3-5 years’ industry experience with at least 6-12 months Ivanti Service Manager or other Service Management tool such as Heat, Remedy, ServiceNow, ForMe, etc. You will also require experience with Enterprise Software Integration, Ivanti Xtraction any other Reporting software, ITIL, Business Analysis & Facilitation, Project Management and exposure to or experience with: MS SQL, JavaScript, HTML, SSRS, XML, XSLT, SMTP / POP3, .NET, Development – Web Services etc.
DUTIES:
- Deliver quality Consulting services to the client.
- Design and configure solutions that maximise the client’s software investment and reduce waste accordingly.
- Enhance the client’s working relationship to build longer relationships.
- Develop/Configure custom software solutions as required through scripting and software configuration.
- Provide Support for the Ivanti software product suite.
- Support the development and growth of the services delivered by the company.
- Provide Demos on Ivanti Suite of products if required.
- Provide input into Project Task estimation and effort.
- Delivery of Consulting services to install, configure, and integrate software products from Ivanti.
- Prepare technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and as internally required.
- Support sales of software and services through demonstrations, proof of concepts and customer presentations.
- Deliver projects on customer premise or remotely as required.
- Document processes and application instructions.
- Provide value-based assessments and workshops to help the customer maximize business results from their Ivanti software.
- Proficiency at improving work methods and procedures (Quality Output).
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce OR BSc in Computer Science or relevant experience.
Experience/Skills –
- 3-5 Years industry related experience gained with at least 6-12 months Ivanti Service Manager / any other Service Management tool – Heat, Remedy, ServiceNow, ForMe etc. / Enterprise Software Administration experience gained.
- Enterprise Software Integration experience.
- Ivanti Xtraction any other Reporting software experience.
- Exposure to or experience with: MS SQL, JavaScript, HTML, SSRS, XML, XSLT, SMTP / POP3, .NET, Development – Web Services etc.
- Enterprise Service Management knowledge, ITIL knowledge.
- Software Configuration Consulting.
- The ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems.
