ENVIRONMENT:
An esteemed and industry-leading organization specializing in Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) is offering an exciting position for a Product Data Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and developing new applications and systems to align with the business needs of the product line environment. Your responsibilities will include analysing business and system requirements to gain a deeper understanding of the product line environment, as well as actively contributing to the Architect’s efforts in compiling solution design documentation for both new and existing products and systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or relevant experience in:
- Information Technology
- Data Analysis
- Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Data Engineering
- AWS Certified Cloud Solution Architect
- AWS Certified Database Speciality
- Data Warehousing certification
Minimum Experience:
- At least 6 years’ proven experience within management information systems (MIS), data warehousing, data transformation information systems, or systems analysis, along with a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
OR
- At least 6-8 years’ proven experience within management information systems or systems analysis
Proven experience in:
- A relational data warehouse (e.g., SQL server, Oracle, etc.), and tools that enable ETL and orchestration
- Testing methodologies
- Mentorship
- Quality assuring work of others
Knowledge:
- IT systems development processes (SDLC)
- ETL processes
- Rational database system and cloud data warehousing
- Dimensional modeling
- Standards and governance
- Testing practices
- People leadership practices and principles
- Quality assurance practices and processes
Experience:
Proven experience in:
- Cloud Environment
- Experience working in an AWS environment as well as with AWS Technologies
- Data modeling

- Banking systems environment
- Banking business model
- Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
