BUILD brand awareness through innovative PR while leading and driving the PR strategy & implementation as your expertise as a forward-thinking PR Specialist is sought by an innovative Durban Financial Services Provider, with an approach to business that is outside the box and sometimes viewed as unconventional. You will be expected to ensure the company is views and called on as the Thought Leader in the areas of Leadership, Early Childhood Development & Entrepreneurship. You must have a suitable Degree, 10 years’ relevant work experience including understanding digital metrics and dimension which affect PR, knowledge of the local & international PR landscape, knowledge of SA blogging and SA micro influencer industries, have proficiency with Brandeye, Meltwater & Kant and have a solid network of contacts.
  • Lead and drive the PR strategy & implementation thereof.
  • Implement the Reputation and Crisis Management strategy.
  • Determine and guide the narrative that we go to market with.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to maximise brand presence and build awareness across various channels.
  • Responsible for all customer facing communications, including social media platforms and community management.
  • Single point of contact to our PR strategic partners – managing all aspects of these relationships (strategy | implementation | financial etc.).
  • Cultivate and maintain media relationships across all channels.
  • Return on investment and delivery of 10x ROI on earned media.
  • Analysis of and reporting on PR performance.
  • Relevant Degree.
  • 10 Years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the local and international PR landscape.
  • Knowledge of SA blogging & SA micro influencer industries.
  • Understanding digital metrics and dimensions which effect PR.
  • Demonstrate ability of previous work in the PR space.
  • Solid network of contacts/clients/opportunities/media partners.
  • Worked with data insight tools and agencies such as Brandseye, Meltwater, Kant.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
