Maintenance Manager (CPT Onsite)

ENVIRONMENT:
YOUR strong leadership and expertise are sought to fill the role of the next Maintenance Manager wanted by a dynamic Manufacturer in specialised polyethylene supplies. You will manage the Maintenance team to ensure proper electrical and mechanical fault reporting and maintenance is performed, oversee the cleaning of all tools and equipment while carrying out the preventative maintenance or repair of all mechanical issues. The ideal candidate must be a Trade Tested Electromechanical Millwright.
 
DUTIES:
  • Apply and adhere to the stringent quality control measures as outlined by the Employer at all times.
  • Manage and oversee the Maintenance team of the company to ensure proper electrical and mechanical fault reporting and maintenance is performed to the Employer’s standard at all times.
  • Manage and oversee the cleaning of all tools and equipment to the satisfaction of the Employer.
  • Manage, oversee and carry out the preventative maintenance or repair of all mechanical issues as required by the Employer.
  • Manage, oversee and carry out the maintenance of all existing and future machinery within the company’s possession/premises.
  • Manage, oversee and carry out a Preventative Maintenance Plan for all existing and future machinery within the company’s possession/premises. Such Preventative Maintenance Plan includes the daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance.
  • Manage and control all critical spare part stock levels.
  • Manage, oversee and control the issuing of tools and spare parts to factory staff as required.
  • Understand the full mechanics and/of existing and future machinery within the company’s possession/premises.
  • Develop new systems and processes to aid the production efficiency of all machinery and equipment within the company’s possession/premises in order to meet the Production Efficiency targets set out by the Employer.
  • Work with other staff and departments throughout the company to ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping is done was required by the Employer.
  • Manage, monitor and lead all staff members within your Technical and Maintenance Team who report directly and/or indirectly to you.
  • Work to reduce scrap and wastage wherever possible.
  • Adhere to the company’s policies wherever possible, including Health and Safety policies, Food Safety products, Maintenance policies, Workplace policies, Quality Control, Dress Codes, Timekeeping and the like.
