An innovative Financial Services Provider in Durban seeks a Leadership Development Officer who will be responsible for developing, driving, executing and assisting with the implementation of all leadership development initiatives across the business. You will also ensure alignment to the Dragon Hunter Centre of Excellence Strategy. You will oversee all operational elements of the portfolio, evaluate leadership development needs while enhancing content & processes to ensure all programs remain pertinent and effective. The ideal candidate will need 3-5 years in Leadership Development, Program Development and leading team with superb communication & interpersonal skills and experience designing experiential program experience for Middle to Senior levels of leadership.
 
DUTIES:
  • Provide direct support to the Chief Leadership Office and oversee day-to-day management and implementation of activities in the Dragon Hunter Centre of Excellence, including activities related to the Talent Acquisition and selection to ensure the talent pipeline is being adequately equipped for the development of future leaders, otherwise known in the business as Dragon Hunters.
  • Manage the function of coaching and mentoring in the business.
  • Execution of leadership development strategy in support of and in collaboration with the CLO.
  • Design, develop and ensure delivery of the leadership platform and programs in support of strategic imperatives of the business.
  • Leadership Advisory meetings.
  • Establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with Strategic Business Partners and all internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the departmental financial forecast.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 Years in Leadership Development, Program Development and leading teams.
  • Experience in designing experiential program experience for Middle to Senior levels of leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and a demonstrated ability to hold self and assigned staff accountable for quality outputs and results.
  • Well-organised, able to work independently and as part of a team, skilled at handling multiple complex tasks and able to adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and provide written reporting, outstanding verbal and written communication, and cross-cultural skills required.
  • English fluency required.
