THE sales wizardry of a highly ambitious Lead Generator is sought by a provider of Sustainable Upskilling Software Solutions to conduct research and whose core focus will be to convert leads into qualified appointments to boost business growth. You will be expected to convert outbound dialled leads into qualified appointments and pass these appointments on to the relevant Solution Architects while liaising with potential clients, the Sales & Support teams. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year Sales experience including having worked with CRMs and management software. Any SaaS experience will prove hugely beneficial. Remote work is currently on offer until further notice so all applicants must ensure they have reliable internet access at home as well as a valid Driver’s License and own reliable transport.
  • Identify and generate new business leads (tools and software provided) on an ongoing basis with the aim of booking qualified exploratory appointments for the Sales team.
  • Responsible for making outbound calls on a daily basis to create interest in products and services.
  • Attend to telephone queries.
  • Work closely with the Solution Architects to ensure exploratory appointments are actioned.
  • Convert the calls to new business leads.
  • Inform potential clients on the company’s products and services.
  • Advise on software features and how they can be applied to generate value within the client’s business.
  • Use company databases to gain potential leads.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business and promote its services.
  • Provide professional and exceptional client service in all interactions with potential clients.
  • Build relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Deal with clients in a professional manner at all times aligned to company’s brand values.
  • Ensure service is prompt, polite and professional standards are kept.
  • Assist with other departments as required.
  • Refer to senior team member for advice and support.
  • Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as and when required.
  • A minimum of 1 year sales experience.
  • Previous experience with CRM’s and management software.
  • Experience in Software as a Service sales is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced computer literacy – this is important! (Apple preferably but not a necessity).
  • The ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
  • Can professionally and confidently communicate with executives.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills.
  • Reliable internet access at home.
  • Valid Driver’s License and own reliable transport.
  • Self-starter.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
