Key Account Manager

Stellenbosch – Western Cape

ENVIRONMENT:
A prospering FinTech Company located in Stellenbosch is actively looking for a skilled and seasoned Key Account Manager to become a valuable member of their team and propel the expansion of their business in the FinTech sector. In the role of Key Account Manager, your responsibilities will include cultivating and extending relationships with their key clients. You will have a pivotal role in comprehending their requirements, delivering customized solutions, and ensuring their contentment. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required, and an MBA is considered a plus. Demonstrated experience as a Key Account Manager in the FinTech industry or a related field is essential.
 
DUTIES:
  • Responsible for effective on-boarding of new Clients.
  • Facilitate ISO Merchant Accounts with the Acquiring banks.
  • Perform quality assurance risk checks on new merchants onboarded.
  • Assist with Merchant Recons and Billing.
  • Setup and train Clients on platforms – Company Console, Collections, PayCloud, WiseBoss, etc.
  • Reporting on Monthly Sales.
  • Risk audit Client business behaviour and manage or escalate accordingly.
  • Manage disputes, chargebacks, and communication with the banks.
  • Follow-up with new key Clients and offer additional assistance to their new personnel using the company’s software for the first time.
  • Resolving Client issues and complaints.
  • Managing communications between Clients and internal teams.
  • Assist with proposals, quotes and invoicing.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the fintech industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fintech products and services.
  • Results-oriented and able to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Develop new business with existing clients and find areas of improvement to maximise sales
