ENVIRONMENT:
OUR client, a provider of comprehensive IT solutions based in Cape Town seeks the Sales wizardry of a highly meticulous & ambitious IT Sales Administrator to join its team. Your role will entail meeting with prospective clients, existing clients and suppliers, compiling quotes, handling sales paperwork and proposals, meeting set sales targets and resolving any sales issues that may occur.  Candidates need to have an IT background.
 
DUTIES:
  • Supplier Interaction.
  • Quoting.
  • Client Interaction –
    • Spec devices and recommendations.
    • Compile quotes.
  • Handle sales paperwork and proposals.
  • Build good relationships with suppliers and clients though attending meetings and electronic communications.
  • Follow up with clients on sales matters.
  • Gather market and client information.
  • Meet with prospective clients, existing clients and suppliers.
  • Process orders.
  • Record sales information and report to management.
  • Research new solutions and technologies relevant and useful.
  • Resolve any sales issues that may occur.
  • Track all external consignments.
  • Liaise with marketing for promotions, marketing materials and sales drives.
  • Presentations on sales and new technologies.
  • Manage and follow up on proposals.
  • Meet set sales targets.
  • Liaise with SHA regarding deliveries and collections.
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  • Stay up to date with shortages.
  • Enter all new solutions in CRM opportunities as soon as they come in.
  • Liaise with Engineers for information pertaining to solutions.
  • Sell Clients solutions that will benefit the Client.
  • Detail subject lines in CRM systems opportunities.
