ENVIRONMENT:
A cutting-edge UK-based Tech Group is looking for an HR Talen Acquisition Specialist with a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant and 5 – 10 years’ experience as a Recruitment Specialist to join their team.  If you’re a proactive self-starter who is eager to make an impact, you’ll thrive in their fast-paced and energetic atmosphere.
 
DUTIES:
Key Performance Indicators:
 
Talent Acquisition:
    • Planning – Quarterly Hire forecast, Identification of role and understanding of requirements.
    • Pre-screening of CV’s and the compilation of a shortlist and compilation of shortlist interviews
    • In the role you are responsible for sourcing and attracting the right talent using the latest methods that yield results
    • Interviews – Interview processes include insuring that a suitable panel is convened and that the proper interview notes are filled.
    • Testing Psychometric and skills testing for potentially successful applicants to ensure that they have required character traits and allowing the manager to understand the new employees’ strengths.
    • Maintaining relationships with recruitment stakeholders using various methods, 1 on 1 virtual catchups, recognizing birthdays, holidays, and milestones – Relationships with agencies need to be maintained to ensure the business gets first pick on the best candidates.
    • Researching and presenting business solutions that will grow the brand and make us a company of choice for employees – facilitating a strong and positive online and social media presence.
 
Onboarding Management:
    • The creation and maintenance of a program whereby new hires are efficiently onboarded – facilitating the onboarding process from the offer letter to commencement of probation.
    • Day 1 introductory procedures.
    • Ensuring all onboarding documentation is collated over the HR for provisional safe keeping.
 
Probation Management:
    • The tailoring of specific and targeted probation program for each new hire considering the individual’s strengths and weaknesses.
    • Ensuring that everyone’s probation program is consistent with the rebate rules of the agency involved in the HIRE.
    • Monitoring and attending all probation reviews and the compilation of confidential probationary reports focused on work ethic, corporate culture, and corporate fit.
    • Fostering and assisting hiring managers to adopt a robust approach to probationary employees.
    • Facilitating the quick termination of underperforming probationary employees with the assistance of the HC.
    • Weekly and Monthly reporting to the head of HC all probationary employees and red flagging potential problems and identifying potential top performers for fast tracking.
    • Identifying Potential talent for leadership roles with the help of the hiring manager
 
Confirmation of Permanent Employment:
    • The creation and maintenance of a program whereby new hires who have successfully passed through the probation are formally onboarded as permanent employees.
    • Compiling a final pack of documents for handover to HR for filing.
    • The formal introduction to the HR generalist for all HR related processes.
 
CPD:
  • To research and facilitate the creation of a database of the best practice training and management, as well as other upskilling courses and to continually review and add to this database for all managers to access through a portal.
  • Managing the Continuous Professional Development for managers and talent identified for Succession Planning.
  • Compiling quarterly reports on each department CPD progress.
 
HR Responsibilities:
  • Redundancy in HR Generalist in role as and when required.
  • Assistance with HR Generalist matters and projects as and when instructed by Head of HC.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
 
Exit Procedures:
  • Conduct an Exit interview upon receipt of employee resignation.
  • Exit interview findings and report to be filed with Head of HC within 48 hours.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Tertiary qualification in Human resources or relevant.
  • 5 – 10 years as a Recruitment Specialist.
