ENVIRONMENT:
A leading FinTech company on a mission to grow the country’s digital economy seeks a highly ambitious Head of Delivery & Analysis who will be responsible for overseeing the analysis and successful cross functional delivery of both internal and external products, projects, or services to clients or customers. You will also take charge of Program Management and Business Analysis teams, ensuring deadlines are met, and quality standards are maintained throughout the delivery process. The successful incumbent will possess strong leadership, communication, and financial industry knowledge. You will also require a Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management/Business Administration/Engineering, or a related discipline with Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) & have several years of work experience in Project Management and Business Analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
DUTIES:
- Program Management – Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Business Analysis – Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of analysis and requirements gathering, ensuring they are detailed, accurate and delivered on time.
- Team Management – Lead and manage Program Management and BA teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Client Communication – Interact with clients to understand their requirements, expectations, and address any concerns or issues that arise during the delivery process.
- Resource Allocation – Allocate resources, such as personnel, budget, and tools, to ensure projects are adequately supported for successful delivery.
- Risk Management – Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal disruptions.
- Quality Assurance – Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the delivery process, conducting reviews, and implementing improvements when necessary.
- Performance Metrics – Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and track progress against these metrics.
- Continuous Improvement – Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment of expectations and successful project outcomes.
- Budget Management – Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Reporting – Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, milestones, and potential roadblocks.
- Conflict Resolution – Address conflicts or challenges that arise within the delivery teams or with clients, and work to find constructive solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- A Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline can provide a solid foundation.
- Possess Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) demonstrates expertise in Project Management principles and practices.
Experience/Skills –
- Several years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for effectively leading and motivating delivery teams.
- Familiarity with the specific industry or domain in which the organisation operates can enhance the ability to tailor project delivery to industry standards.
- Change Management – Ability to manage changes in project scope, timelines, and requirements while minimizing disruptions.
- Risk Management – Proficiency in identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them is vital to ensure smooth project execution.
- The ability to analyse complex situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions is crucial for overcoming challenges during project delivery.
- Skill in optimizing resource allocation, including personnel, budget, and tools, to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial accountability.
