Executive Head of Sales

PROVIDE visionary leadership to the Sales team, implementing forward-thinking strategies and closing deals as the next Executive Head of Sales sought by a fast-paced Specialist in End-to-end IT Management and Consultative IT Services. You will be expected to lead, mentor, and inspire the Sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets; cultivate new business channels while analysing market trends and staying up to date with product offerings & services. The successful incumbent will possess a suitable Degree/Diploma with extensive sales experience and the ability to provide leadership in a sales context, persuasive communication skills & strong relationship-building ability. You must also have a solid understanding of market dynamics & trends within IT.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets. Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, setting strategic objectives and guiding their execution.
  • Performance Management: Set performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and guidance to team members.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, to generate leads, close deals, build strategic partnerships and expand our client base.
  • Target Focussed: Attain company sales targets, cultivate new business channels, and nurture the growth of existing accounts.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration and effective communication within the Sales team to optimize performance.
  • Account Management: Provide strategic direction for managing key client accounts and support team members in their account management efforts.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate the training and development of the Sales team members.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with product offerings and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Sales Forecasting: Analyse market trends and sales data to make informed sales forecasts and keep the pipeline up to date.
  • Budget Management: Manage the Sales Department’s budget effectively.
  • Market Feedback: Gather market feedback through Sales team interactions and disseminate this information for strategic decision-making.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Hold a relevant Degree or Diploma.
  • Possess extensive sales experience and the ability to provide leadership in a sales context.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Understand market dynamics and trends within the IT industry.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and present information effectively.
