Digital Franchise Lead (eCommerce)

A client-driven SEO Agency seeks a strategic-thinking Digital Franchise Lead with a focus on eCommerce who will be responsible and accountable for the overall success of the creation and management of web properties and initiatives in order to diversify client portfolios. Working closely with Senior Management, you will help develop and execute a business strategy and provide regular reports on progress while overseeing a high performing team, setting clear objectives and expectations with a ruthless focus on delivering on company OKR’s. The successful incumbent will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related field, have 8+ year’s Digital Marketing work experience including eCommerce with a proven track record of growing revenue. You must also have a solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, CRO & UX principles.
  • Manage, and be responsible for the commercial success of multiple website properties.
  • Work closely with the Head of Franchise Management to establish an annual business plan and roadmap to be reviewed and approved by Senior Management on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Act as a Digital Product and Marketing expert providing guidance on strategic direction.
  • Keep abreast of all Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) trends as they occur.
  • Establish and monitor in real-time an approved list of revenue-generating keywords for each client website and their competitors.
  • Establish off-site authority building and ensure backlink health.
  • Define, develop and prioritise a product roadmap, in alignment with OKR’s.
  • Own and manage P&L and provide regular reports on progress to the executive team.
  • Develop and manage an annual budget.
  • Implement structure and manage an agile and flexible team that delivers optimal performance for each digital property.
  • Oversee the development of content strategy with the Content team.
  • Set the priorities for the Franchise team.
  • Ensure all central services processes and systems are adhered to.
  • Lead other initiatives or programs as assigned.
Qualifications –
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields.
Experience/Skills –
  • 8+ Years Digital Marketing experience.
  • eCommerce experience with a proven track record of growing revenue.
  • Good understanding of technical Search Engine Optimization (SEO) fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of CRO and UX principles.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Experience in a startup work environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strategic thinker, able to anticipate, think critically, evaluate, and act. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate effectively across different organisations and cultures.
