Dedicated to providing customized solutions, their objective is to streamline operations and cultivate growth and innovation for their clientele. They are currently in search of a Business Development Consultant who will play a pivotal role in driving business expansion and broadening their client roster. Your primary focus will involve prospecting new clients, nurturing leads, and facilitating the transition of client relationships to the Customer Care Team upon securing a sale. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with certifications being advantageous. Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in technology sales. This position offers a monthly salary of R30,000 and follows a hybrid work model.
DUTIES:
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with management to devise business development strategies in line with company objectives.
Market Research:
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify target markets and potential opportunities.
Lead Generation:
- Innovate and execute methods for generating leads via various channels.
Client Engagement:
- Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and offer strategic insights.
Consulting:
- Provide personalized consultations and tailored solutions to clients.
Proposal Development:
- Create compelling proposals and presentations.
Deal Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations for successful deal closures
Relationship Management:
- Foster long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize strategies.
Reporting:
- Track business development activities and provide insights for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; certifications advantageous.
- Proven sales experience, particularly in IT.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Licensing and related services.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- 3+ years of experience in technology sales.
- Familiarity with CRM software preferred.
