Your core focus will be to drive business results through the effective delivery of forecasting and analytical findings by utilising existing and emerging analytical capabilities, including multi-touch attribution and media mix modelling. You require a B.Bus.Sci Degree in Stats/Maths/Computer Science or similar quantitative field, 6 years’ experience in an analytical role, strong understanding of how analytics supports a large organisation and SQL programming/data processing experience.
Business plan forecasting, modifying, creating and testing financial forecasting model to predict business growth accurately.
Work independently or collaboratively throughout the complete analytics project lifecycle including data extraction/preparation, analysis and presentation of results.
Work collaboratively with BI to automate standardised reporting.
Pro-actively analyse data to uncover insights that increase business value and impact.
Approach analytical challenges with an appropriate blend of statistical/mathematical rigor with practical business intuition.
Approach analysis in multiple ways in order to evaluate approaches and compare results.
Ensure a point-of-view on the strengths and limitations of statistical models and analysis in various business contexts and evaluate and effectively communicate the uncertainty or limitations in the results.
Partner with technical and non-technical resources across the business to leverage their support and integration of efforts.
Support development of tools and infrastructure to scale operations, increase efficiencies and improve quality of results.
Work with the selection analyst to identify ways to automate manual jobs and find more efficient ways to execute marketing operations.
Manage response modelling.
B.Bus.Sci Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering or similar quantitative field.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in an analytical role (consulting to external clients and/or internal business partners).
Strong understanding of how analytics supports a large organisation including being able to successfully articulate the linkage between business decisions, business objectives and analytical approaches and findings.
Proven experience in ability to translate statistical and mathematical results in a way that tells a clear story and guides management and stakeholders in actionable decisions.
Able to work with large transactional databases across multiple platforms.
Strong SQL programming/data processing experience.
Experience in financial services.
Some experience and/or understanding of Response Modelling.
Effective Communicator (both verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
Strong interpersonal skills to successfully build long-term relationships with colleagues and business partners.
Excellent business acumen and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems.
A real desire to put the customer at the centre of everything you do.
Adaptable to work in an ambiguous and dynamic work environment.
Comfortable with risk and uncertainty.
