ENVIRONMENT:

A fiercely competitive & driven Sales Specialist is sought by an IT consulting firm in Centurion to design innovative sales strategies while actively pursuing new business and clients. You will also play a key role in boosting income and revenue by managing and negotiating leads, driving sales initiatives and leading the customer account planning cycle. You will require a relevant B-Degree/Diploma, Sales Certifications, at least 5 years proven Sales/Business Development experience and MUST-HAVE a deep understanding and experience of working with State Owned Enterprises, municipalities and various SITA transversals. Please note this is an Employment Equity position.

 

DUTIES:

Bring in new business for the company’s services and solutions.

Actively pursue sales opportunities.

Be responsible to build and maintain the pipeline required on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Generate new business leads and opportunities.

Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.

Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.

Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones.

Proactively access, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Advise on solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary technical teams and specialists.

Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

Develop, qualify, progress new opportunities through the sales cycle forecast until closure.

Shape or identify new opportunities at Clients to pursue a Cloud Roadmap.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Must-Haves –

A deep understanding and experience of working with State Owned Enterprises, municipalities and various SITA transversals.

 

Qualifications –

Relevant B-Degree, Diploma or equivalent.

Sales Certifications.

 

Experience/Skills –

5 – 10 Years consistent and proven capabilities in driving Sales/ Business Development in soles sources deals.

Financial planning and strategy.

Positioning.

Territory Management.

Sales Planning.

Negotiation skills.
