A fast-moving, innovative investment company seeks a highly talented Product Owner who has significant experience with transactions, business process management as well as CRM systems preferably in the LISP industry. Your core role will include managing and mentoring the development team including implementation of new features in the BPM/CRM applications. You will require a Computer Science/Engineering/Business Science Degree or background or other relevant tertiary qualification, 5 years in similar role, a strong interest in tech and financial services specifically, understand LISP transactions and have worked in an Agile environment.
Manage and mentor the team of analysts and testers responsible for the Siebel workflow management and CRM system.
Manage and control the production environment.
Manage and control no-production environments used during testing by the respective teams.
Primary link between the client business units and the development team.
Engage with business on system enhancements and plan the associated work.
Guide and document detailed requirements that can be shared with the development team.
Manage relationship with external contractors.
Be the subject matter expert for the application for the Retail business.
Communicate with stakeholders and provide sufficient information to allow for informed business decisions.
Challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how they envision business and systems processes to work.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
Assess scope of projects and assist with planning and prioritisation.
Assist in enforcement of project deadlines, schedules and methodologies.
Develop contingency plans where appropriate.
Support and drive implementation of projects.
Support the documentation and planning for test scenarios, test cases and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations.
Assist in hiring staff.
Any background/ Degree in an analytical, quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Science or similar.
Although no formal qualification in a technology field is required, successful POs will have a strong interest in technology generally and financial services specifically.
Five years relevant experience in the industry.
An understanding of LISP transactions.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
