A global hi-tech medical research company seeks to fill the position of Mid-Level IT Support who will be based at their Mtubatuba site in Durban. Your core role will include working closely with the Senior IT Support Specialist to provide end-user support. You will require an IT Degree/Diploma or Certifications in either MCSA, CCNA or ITILv3 and at least 2+ years’ experience in the IT industry of which at least a year should have been in a Desktop/Helpdesk or similar role. Your skillset should include: Microsoft technologies, Active Directory, Group Policies, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Apple Mac OSX, Android and iOS, Office, Office 365 & DHCP, DNS and General Networking. Please note this is a 12-Month Contract.
IT Degree/Diploma or Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, ITILv3.
2+ Years’ experience in IT field.
At least 1 years’ experience in Desktop/Helpdesk support or similar position.
Experience working with all Microsoft technologies.
Active Directory and Group Policies.
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Apple Mac OSX.
Mobile device operating systems including Android and iOS.
Microsoft desktop products including Office, Office 365.
DHCP, DNS and General Networking.
Fluent in English (Verbal & Written).
Valid Driver’s License.
VOIP and SIP technologies
Excellent Interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a multidisciplinary team, flexible and a good team player.
Good problem-solving skills (both technical & soft).
Diligence and perseverance to complete all tasks.
Able to document information accurately and methodically.
Can work independently and show initiative.
