A highly technical Integration Developer is sought by an innovative cash risk management firm in Joburg. Your core role will include System Analysis, developing programs which will include unit testing, impact analysis and coaching and mentorship. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant Degree/Diploma (i.e. B Sc, ICT), 4 years’ experience in Process Modelling using IBM BPM 8.50 stack Expertise in Process Designer, Process and Integration Testing, J2EE, Webservices (SOAP, REST. JSON, etc.), SQL, working knowledge of Linux, Windows and AIX Environments & 2 years Cloud.
System Analysis and design of solutions –
Receive the required BRS (Business requirement spec) from the Business Analyst.
Develop technical Systems design that will assist with the solution required by customers.
Compile functional and technical specifications and associated test cases using templates and standards as set by management.
Responsible for Scheduling and facilitating JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions with the team members involved e.g. BA, Project Manager, Develop managers, Architects, Developers to define user requirements and technical systems designs.
Coordinate with the Integration Support team to smoothly transition new flows and configuration into relevant environments, as well as BAR file deployments.
Develop programs –
Certify that customer/user specifications are met through the development, and delivery of working programs to quality standard, and without bugs. This includes unit testing.
Apply security principles to all design and development work performed.
Improve systems and development processes by keeping track of new technologies.
Impact Analysis –
Analyse impact of new development as well as changes or fixes prior to development taking place.
Responsible for Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Define implementation criteria –
Define implementation/cut over approach requirements and steps to be followed (implementation/cut over plan). This will include consulting the business on business readiness criteria.
Provide consultancy service to users/customers and testers –
Assess current system efficiency and makes suggestions in respect of optimal use of computer systems and applications.
Provide testers with background and insight relating to processes and functionality provided.
Establish and maintain relevant process documentation –
Establish and maintain relevant process documentation throughout the end to end process.
Identify and recommend improvements to the overall process of delivering a sprint goal.
Coaching and mentoring –
Act as a Coach/Mentor to all team members to transfer skill and understanding of IBM Equipment Facilitating continuous improvement within teams and overall processes regarding the IBM equipment.
Provide support and resolve issues around application in accordance with SLA.
Relevant Degree or Diploma (i.e. B Sc, ICT).
4 Years’ experience in Process Modelling using IBM BPM 8.50 stack Expertise in Process Designer, Process Centre, Business Activity Monitoring, Rules Engine, WebSphere Integration Designer, WebSphere Process Server of which 3 Years must be:
Experience in Adapters, Connectors, Partner Links.
Experience in Process and Integration Testing.
Experience in any DB2, Schema Designing.
Experience in J2EE, Webservices (SOAP, REST. JSON, XML, ODATA, OAUTH, WADL, WSDL), Mediation, Integration, Routing, Transformations.
SQL competency writing queries and developing stored procedures.
Source code control and version (TFS, Github, etc).
Continuous Integration and Enterprise Intergration patterns.
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows and AIX Environments.
Software design patterns. Database Administration.
Knowledgeable on Java, frameworks and web services, middleware, process management, Process Implementation, Coach Designing, and SOA.
2 Years Cloud knowledge.
Exposure to IBM WebSphere Product accreditation.
