Drive technological change and advancements as the next ICT Executive sought by an innovative Financial Services company. You will accomplish these changes by providing a differentiating, robust and sustainable platform for business growth and transformation while mitigating any associated risks. The successful candidate requires a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher, 10 years’ experience in a Senior Management position within ICT in the Financial Services/Retail sector, able to develop operational strategies, have managed outsource providers and an understanding of Retail and/or Consumer Finance, the SDLC and Product Life Cycle.
Accountable for the overall performance of all spheres of the IT business area and to ensure they are aligned to changing and growing business needs.
Ensure the integrity of the IT security infrastructure and stability of the systems environment.
Govern the technology roadmap and principles to guide future choices that are required with regards to technological developments, innovations and advances in best practices.
Ensure any new systems are delivered in line with Group governance standards, expectations and needs.
Manage and oversee outsourced partners and vendors and ensure service levels are met.
Overall accountability for the compliance and risk management of the areas of responsibility.
Effective budget management for all areas of accountability.
Provide thought leadership and best practice to ensure competitive advantage.
Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enable the company to meet its strategic objectives.
Effective integration with BNP group teams and delivery of group requirements.
Lead direct reports and their teams to ensure optimal performance, engagement and succession.
Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
10 Years’ senior management experience within an ICT position within Financial Services/ Retail Environment.
Experience in developing and operationalising strategies.
Managing outsourced providers.
Expert understanding of systems in Retail and/or Consumer Finance.
Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle and the Product Life Cycle.
Strong understanding of technology and future trends.
