ENVIRONMENT:

A new digital agency based in JHB requires a Digital Designer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, good understanding of UX and understanding of briefs and accurate interpretation thereof.

DUTIES:

• Responsive websites.
• Mailshots
• Google display ads.
• Social Media elements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Designing in Affinity.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap beneficial.
• Understanding of briefs and accurate interpretation thereof.
• Creation of design and assets for use on our website, brand file and social media platforms.
• Work closely with copywriters on social content and strategies.
• Wireframing beneficial.
• Good understanding of UX.
• Beneficial to know full Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential).
• Good communication skills.
• Work within timeframes to meet deadlines.
• Conceptualise, design and maintain all required material for online use.
• Knowledge and interest of web standards, best practices and technologies to maintain all the brands’ websites in terms of content, design, development and functionality.
• Natural interest in social media and digital trends and assist with creation and presentation of the brands and companies on social media platforms.
• Passion for best practices, new technologies and continuous improvement on the digital platform.
• Ability to take a project from brief to completion.
