You will be expected to manage systems and project development life cycles from analysis stage right through to the implementation phase. You must possess a BSc/BCom/IT Degree or equivalent 3-year tertiary qualification & 3 years working in Business Analysis & with Debtors systems and in a Retail/Financial Services environment. Your skill-set should include: SQL Server, Excel, JIRA, Atlassian, Team Foundation Server, HTML, Microsoft Visio & Project.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) –
Conduct and coordinate workshops with business to gather detailed user requirements following a standard development in SDLC within AGILE methodology.
Translate client / user requirements into highly specified project briefs, user stories.
Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
Draw up proposals for modified or replacement systems and present to relevant parties.
Work closely together with programmers and a variety of end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
Oversee the implementation of the new system(s) / enhancements.
Continuously ensure that tasks and projects are completed within deadlines and that any rework is limited.
Improve Business Efficacy
Monitor and improve the efficiency of business processes, as well as collect and interpret data about existing processes.
Continuously keep up to date with technical as well as industry sector developments and investigate alternative business solutions.
Reduce manual tasks and direct costs as well as provide efficiencies through use of technology.
Interpret business processes into user interaction flows and screen layouts.
Draw-up testing schedules for the completed system(s) / enhancements.
Provide training to users on the new system(s) / enhancements.
Ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met accordingly to minimize cost.
Responsible for the compilation and distribution of status reports to relevant stakeholders.
BSc / B-Com / IT Degree or equivalent 3 year tertiary qualification.
At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Debtors Systems and Processes.
3 Years’ experience within a Retail or Financial Services environment.
Working knowledge of relational databases, web and client-server concepts, and be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Background in Microsoft, SQL Server, Excel, Word, Outlook, JIRA, Atlassian, Team Foundation Server and HTML.
Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
Familiar with AGILE practices and methodology.
Any unsecured lending experience will be a plus.
