This Stellenbosch based company requires a Hardware and Firmware Test Engineer to join their team.
DUTIES:
1. Interpret and execute test procedures as well as writing of test procedures - the kind of testing is inclined towards hardware and firmware testing, but also involve the use of server based back end software and system integration tests.
2. The applicant must be able to use test equipment like Oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers.
3. Do system engineering tasks such as deriving test procedures from user requirements.
Requirements
1. An RF background would be a recommendation.
2. Reading and understanding of circuit diagrams.
3. The applicants would also be required to do system engineering tasks such as deriving test procedures from user requirements.
4. Ability to use test equipment like Oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers.
