This national telecommunications company requires a Snr Java Developer with 5 years experience in Developing Java web applications, JSP, J2EE Architecture, UML Design, Web Services, Application Servers, SQL Database, OO Design and Perl.
DUTIES:
1. Develop and maintain systems to support the business needs.
2. Develop Java Web Applications.
3. Maintenance of existing web applications.
4. Integration of Systems.
Requirements
1. Minimum: Sun Certified Java Programmer.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in:
1. Developing Java web applications.
2. JSP
3. J2EE architecture
4. UML design
5. Web Services
6. Application Servers ( JBoss / Tomcat)
7. SQL database ( Oracle / PostgreSQL )
8. OO design
9. Perl
3. Knowledge:
1. JSP
2. J2EE architecture
3. UML design
4. Web Services
5. Application Servers ( JBoss / Tomcat)
6. SQL database ( Oracle / PostgreSQL )
7. OO design
8. Perl
4. Understanding of:
1. Design patterns
2. Agile development methodologies
3. Hibernate and JDBC
4. Spring Framework
5. 3 tier web architectures
6. Unix ( FreeBSD / Linux / Solaris )
7. Have a good understanding of Networks and TCP/IP
5. Advantageous Skills :
1. Worked on either Cisco or Juniper devices before.
2.Network System monitoring

5. ASP
6. Understanding of XML
