This well established software company for the online gaming industry requires a C++ Developer with 2+ years experience to join their team. The purpose of the job is to utilize software development best practices to develop, maintain and test high quality, scalable and efficient software as part of an experienced and dynamic team.
DUTIES:
1. Improving and maintaining software from end-to-end.
2. Adapt to changing development practices and environments.
3. Understand impact of changes in the live environment.
4. Identifying areas for improvement in the software environment and within the team processes.
5. Documenting software changes and fixes.
6. Testing software.
7. Code Reviews.
Requirements
1. Completed relevant diploma or degree e.g. BSc or BComm (preferable)
2. 2+ years C++ development experience
3. 1+ years .NET (C#) experience preferable.
4. 1+ years SQL Server experience with T-SQL preferable.
5. Some Flash experience preferable.
6. 2-3 years Analysis and Design skills.
7. Problem solving skills.
8. A working knowledge of software development practices
9. Understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle.
10. Understanding of industry development practices and standards
