This Cape Town based company with offices in Johannesburg has an unbelievable opportunity for someone who is looking for a Senior Analyst Developer role. You will have to be self-managed and have a level of business acumen, as you will be coding as well as interacting with the client on an analytical level.
DUTIES:
1. Client interaction.
2. Client requirement definition.
3. Solution development, coding, testing and deploying.
4. Migration, troubleshooting and support of client queries where appropriate are part of the position.
5. The nature of the business requires the incumbent to be client facing and be able to interact with the client to understand their requirements, and transfer the appropriate knowledge and understanding of the solution.
6. Any technical investigation, experimentation and growth needed for the position would be within the incumbent‘s duties.
7. It would be required that the incumbent assist in the technical development of the company by staying abreast of new appropriate technologies.
8. Use and control of any resources allocated to projects.
9. This includes the work allocation, tracking and correction where needed, technical assistance and development as needed on projects, and any activity needed to help resources grow and learn about the technologies employed.
10. This also requires the use of any methodology required be the company in the delivery of projects, as is the standard of the company at that time.
11. Proper feedback and communication to senior management and directors as needed on progress and issues, as well as general status and events on client projects and staff as appropriate.
Requirements
1. Relevant tertiary education is essential.
2. Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role.
3. Development experience in C# and ASP.Net is essential.
